The HMD
and HMC series of holographic media consist of our proprietary high
performance recording medium sandwiched between two unformatted
glass substrates. HMD series media come in convenient 120 mm disk
format. HMC series media are available in 50 x 50 mm. card format.
Both media are available in a standard recording thickness of 300, 400 and 500 microns. Other thicknesses may be available upon
request.

Features and Benefits:
- High Capacity of greater than 300
GByte and Data Transfer Rate of 200 MBytes/sec achievable in CD form factor
- Ultra Low Shrinkage
upon Recording: STX Aprilis's breakthrough Cationic Ring Opening Polymerization
(CROP) chemistry assures the lowest shrinkage available. This attribute is
fundamental for achieving highest dynamic range and highest storage capacity
per unit media thickness.
- Highest recording sensitivity
available achieving real time recording in rotating disk media.
- No Pre-Recording
Exposure Required
- High Refractive Index
Modulation with Extremely Low Scatter: This attribute greatly
improves signal to noise ratio and increases storage capacity.
- No Post Recording
Sensitivity
- High Archival Data Lifetime
of 100 Years
- Precision Packaging
